Sunday School

Sunday School is a good opportunity for your child to learn more about Christianity with other children their own age. The programs cater for children aged between 1-12 years of age and are fun and educational.

The children that come to Church on Sunday at 9:30am usually stay in Church for 15-20 minutes with everyone and then go to their individual groups until 11am.

Experienced teachers or parents assisted by helpers build caring relationships with the children and encourage each child to participate in fun games, story time, Bible memory verses and singing.

The Sunday School organises three family services each year, which involves all children. Your whole family is encouraged to come and witness the groups of children present an item.

• Mother's Day Service (May)

• Kid's Celebration (August)

• Christmas Family Service (December)

There are 3 Sunday School groups:

• Creche (Ages 1-2)

• Beginner-Primary (Ages 3-8)

• JK's (Ages 9-12)

Playtime

Playtime is a caring and friendly playgroup for children 0-5 years of age, where children can interact with other children and mothers can have quality time with other mothers. Playtime is co-ordinated by trained teachers.

Playtime meets during school terms from 10am-12pm on:

• Tuesday

• Wednesday

• Friday

Playtime has a wide range of activities - both indoors and outdoors - including painting, playdough, craft, story and singing time. Special interest days are provided for the children (e.g. "Teddy Bears' Picnic") as well as special activities for mothers. Grandparents, Carers and Fathers are most welcome too.

Our Playtime aims to provide you with more than just a playtime.

Adventurers

Adventurers runs during every school term on Friday afternoon from 3:30pm-5pm at Eastwood Baptist Church in the Church Hall.

Adventurers is for children at school from Kindergarten to Year 6 inclusive.

Each school term a new program is run by our team of leaders which involves games, singing, afternoon tea, Bible story time, discussion groups and craft.

Adventurers costs $5 per child or $7 per family to cater for food.

A few of our leaders regularly walk children from Eastwood Public School to Adventurers only with parental/guardian permission. If you are interested in this please let us know.
