Church offering situation
Giving has been down in recent weeks due to the present circumstances. We would strongly recommend anyone who would like to contribute financially to do so using electronic giving. The bank account details can be found in the member’s section of our website. For those who are unable to use electronic banking, would you consider setting aside the funds you would ordinarily give, and upon the re-opening of our services, arrange for your accumulated offering to be brought to church then. We understand that many of your financial situations may have changed because of the impact of the corona virus; don’t be embarrassed to make whatever alterations you need to your usual giving as a result.
The church qualifies to receive funds from the stimulus package that the government is offering. We are applying for the JobKeeper payment with the ATO, in addition to the minimum of $20,000 cash flow boost which has been offered to all employers.
Love Gift for Missionaries
We had planned on organizing Love Gifts to go out to the missionaries we support in the lead up to May. If you would still like to contribute to a gift for our cross cultural workers, please transfer money into the church offering account, and put the missionary’s name in the description field of the transfer, e.g. “Love Gift for Dema”, and we will arrange for the funds to be sent to them. Deadline for this will be the 30th April.
Church fund set up for those in need
The deacons are setting up a fund to give one-off financial assistance to those in our church congregations who find themselves in need during this season. We are still working through all the details; please email the church office (email@example.com) or one of the pastors for more information, or if you require financial assistance at this time.

Graydon C, International Director, Global Recordings Network, has sent Easter Greetings to “wish us all a blessed Easter” He said, “Certainly celebrations are different this year but nothing changes the reality of the Easter message…pray that many will find new life in Christ”.
He also advised that “GRN is making some children’s material available especially for this period of ‘lock down’. Parents can make use of whatever is useful to them”.
